Enables operators and enterprises to seamlessly and reliably connect TDM devices and user Ethernet on a standard low-cost wireless or wired Ethernet/IP fabric with no impact on voice quality. TDM over IP is transparent to TDM signals, ensuring that any device with a physical E1 interface is seamlessly connected, such as PBX, mobile base stations, SS7 signaling devices and voice mail systems. Can be used in IP-based communication systems such as LAN, WAN, MAN, and wireless networks.

It is has 4 slot service card, two 10/100/1000M Ethernet ports, one 1000M Ethernet optical port/SFP, and one console management interface.
